Terms of Service — PII Masker and CSV Import Checker

These terms cover two Pipedrive Marketplace apps published by Yin Yang Inc. trading as ClonePartner — PII Masker and CSV Import Checker. Installing or using either means you accept them. Last updated 30 September 2026.

What the apps do

PII Masker takes a CSV you supply and replaces the personal data in it with consistent stand-ins, and gives you a separate key mapping each stand-in back to the original. CSV Import Checker takes a CSV you supply and reports where it breaks Pipedrive's documented import rules. Both run inside your browser tab and neither reads your Pipedrive data. They are free of charge.

A limit worth stating plainly

PII Masker does not mask a person's name written inside prose — in a note, a deal description, a comment. Email addresses, phone numbers, payment cards, IBANs and IP addresses are found anywhere in a file because they have recognisable shapes. Names largely do not, and the column awareness that stops a company name being replaced with a person's name is the same thing that makes a name inside a sentence invisible.

Two of the ten data types — passport numbers and dates of birth — are off by default, because their shapes also match SKUs, order references and ordinary business dates. Turning them on may replace values that were not personal data.

Read the masked file before you send it. We say this here rather than only in the app because an app that overstates what it masks is more dangerous than one that states its edge.

Masking is not a compliance decision

These are tools, not advice. Whether a masked file is safe to share, and whether doing so satisfies the GDPR, the CCPA, a data processing agreement or any other obligation, is a judgement about your data and your circumstances that only you can make. We do not warrant that the output is anonymised, pseudonymised or compliant with anything, and using the app does not transfer any of your obligations to us.

The re-identification key is yours to look after

The key reverses the masking. It is deliberately a separate download with a different name, and it is never inside the masked file. Sending the two together produces a file that is not masked at all — it is the original with an extra step. Keeping them apart is your responsibility.

CSV Import Checker reports, it does not fix

It changes nothing and invents no values. It checks the rules Pipedrive publishes, and deliberately does not check rules Pipedrive does not publish — there is no required date format, for instance, so there is no date rule. It also cannot see how your account is configured: fields your account marks mandatory and dropdown options it defines are invisible to a file, and the report says so rather than guessing. A clean report is not a guarantee that an import will succeed, and the report is not a substitute for Pipedrive's own importer, which is what actually validates and loads your data.

Acceptable use

Use the apps on data you are entitled to process. Do not use them to circumvent an obligation to retain records, and do not attempt to disrupt the service or use it to attack anyone. We may withdraw access if you do.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but offer no uptime guarantee. If our origin is unreachable the modal will not open, and the rest of Pipedrive is unaffected — neither app can break your CRM, because neither writes to it.

Provided as is

The apps are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of them is limited to what you paid us for them, which is nothing. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending it

Uninstall either app from Pipedrive at any time. That revokes our access immediately and deletes the record we held, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may discontinue either app, in which case we will update its Marketplace listing.

Governing terms

Your use of Pipedrive itself is governed by your agreement with Pipedrive, not by these terms. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms.
