Privacy Policy — Freshworks Apps

This policy covers the two Freshworks Marketplace apps published by Yin Yang Inc. (trading as ClonePartner): PII Masker and CSV Import Checker. Both are available for Freshdesk and Freshservice.

What we collect

Nothing. Neither app collects, transmits, or stores any data.

How the apps work

You pick a CSV file. It is read into the browser tab by the browser's own FileReader, processed there, and handed back to you as a download or via the clipboard. The file is never sent anywhere. No copy is retained after you close or reload the page.

What the apps do not do

• They do not read your Freshdesk or Freshservice data. Neither app calls any Freshworks API.
• They do not require an API key, an OAuth grant, or any account connection.
• They do not use cookies, localStorage, or sessionStorage.
• They do not contain analytics, telemetry, or error reporting.
• They load nothing at runtime from any third party — no CDN, no fonts, no scripts.

How to verify this

These are not assurances you have to take on trust. Freshworks requires that submitted app code is not minified, so the package is readable. In either app's package you will find no config/requests.json — request templates are the only mechanism by which a Platform 3.0 app can reach an external API — no config/oauth_config.json, an empty config/iparams.json, and no fetch, XMLHttpRequest or client.request anywhere in the app's scripts.

The re-identification key

PII Masker can produce a file mapping its stand-ins back to your original values. That file is generated in your browser and downloaded by you. We never see it, and it is never transmitted. It is deliberately a separate download from the masked file, and you are responsible for keeping it inside your organisation.

Uninstalling

Nothing is created at install, so nothing is left behind at uninstall.
