Data Export and Migration Constraints

The HappyFox Export Trap
If you are migrating out of HappyFox (for example, to Zendesk or Freshdesk), you will immediately encounter the CSV export trap.
Currently through Tabular view report export, you can export all the ticket information including the client's initial message and subject of the email. Amazon requires Personally Identifiable Information (names, addresses) to be redacted after a retention window (typically 30 days post-shipment per Amazon Buyer-Seller Messaging Service terms).
When you pull historical tickets via the eDesk API, you will find that customer names are replaced with Redacted and email addresses are replaced with anonymized marketplace routing strings (e.g., 12345abcde@marketplace.amazon.com). You cannot recover this data. You must configure your target help desk to accept these anonymized strings without triggering duplicate contact creation errors.
Commerce data loss risk: eDesk tickets carry embedded order context (item details, shipping carrier, tracking URL, return status). HappyFox has no native equivalent.
