# Terms of Service — Import Preflight

These terms cover **Import Preflight**, a monday.com marketplace app published by **Yin Yang Inc.** (trading as ClonePartner). Installing or using the app means accepting them.

## What the app does

It checks a file you supply against the column structure of a monday.com board you can already see, and reports what monday.com's own importer is likely to do with that file. It produces a report, and optionally a corrected copy of your file.

## What it is not

The app reports against rules monday.com documents publicly. monday.com may change its importer's behaviour at any time, and some of its behaviour is not documented at all — where that is so, the app says so rather than guessing. **A clean report is not a guarantee that an import will succeed**, and the app is not a substitute for checking the result of an import. The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind.

## Your data

Covered by the [privacy policy](/monday-app-privacy). In short: your file stays in your browser, the app reads your board's column definitions and nothing else, and it never writes to your board.

## Price

The app is free. If that changes, existing users will be told before it does.

## Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Yin Yang Inc. is not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including loss arising from an import that behaved differently from what the app reported. You remain responsible for your own data and for what you import.

## Ending it

Uninstall the app from your monday.com account at any time. Nothing is retained, so nothing needs deleting.

## Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Yin Yang Inc. is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
